Why Join the Upper Jarvis Neighbourhood Association?
Influence change and protect your property
New developments can have a huge impact on property value, zoning, property taxes, parking, car traffic flows, pedestrian traffic, garbage, sunlight, noise, crime and loitering, It is important that you have your say about the effect of all of these things on the big investment that you have made in your home. Don’t leave it up to someone else to communicate about your needs. Staff from the offices of local elected representatives attend UJNA meetings and carry your concerns back to your elected official.
Keep up to date on what is going on
The Association maintains relationships with municipal, provincial and federal elected representatives, local businesses, local developers and 51 Division of the Toronto Police. By joining the Association, you will receive email updates on community events and new developments. Members also receive notice of upcoming Association meetings where residents can learn about the status of community and municipal initiatives and hear directly from elected officials and local developers.
